The Loss of the Ovalau.

Received 12, 10.50 p.m. SYDNEY, Nov. 12. The Marine Co«rt has opened the inquiry into the loss of the Ovalau. Captain Todd and his officers were unable to throw any light oil the cause of the fire. The Ovalau was well ventilated, and the cargo was shipped dry. Their experience proved that copra was unliable to spontaneous combustion. Export evidence was given to the same efleot. The president adjourned the enquiry for a week, to obtain further expert opinion. He said there was no blamo attachable to Captain Todd or anyone connected with the Ovalau.
