CONSTANTINOPLE, Nov. 11. The Porte claims that having dismissed 1000 aministrative military officers in Macedonia during six months is sufficient proof of the Sultan's desire to execute reforms. Rebels who are surrendering ill Monostir are seeking Austrian protection and ignore the Russian Consul, because they deeply resent Russia's unfulfilled promises of protection. A BATTALION BANISHED. Received 12, 10.56 p.m. CONSTANTINOPLE, Nov. 12. A I'rizreud Ilaveh battalion was cO'Urt-martialled at Salonika for atrocities in the vilayet of Adrianople. Out of 750 comprising the battalion 75 were acquitted, and the rest were banished to Yetmen.
