HOME PRODUCE TRADE. WELLINGTON, Nov. 11. The Department of Industries and Commerce has received the following cablegram from the Agent-General,' (fcxted London, 10th : The importations of River Piute mutton, lamb, and butter Into the I'nitc;! Kingdom for last month (October) was as follows : Mutton 172,526 carcases, of which 42,334 were landed at London, 120,902 at Liverpool, ar.d 9290 at Cardiff. Lamb, 2500 carcases, of which 1000 were lauded at London, and 1300 at Liverpool. Butter, 2178 cwt., landed at London aDd Liverpool. BUSCNSIDE MARKET. DUNEDIN,- Nov. 11. Fat Cattle.—l 44 were yarded. Th« demand was good, and on the whole equal to last week. Best bullocks, £l2 12s 6d ; medium, £lO 10s to £lO 17s (id : others, £9 to £9 17s 6d. Fat Sheep.—2o6B penned. Demand was brisk and prices ecpal to about last week. Medium.quality were taken by grazers. Best wethers, 24s to 26s 3d ; ewes, a few extra heavy, 37s 3d ; others, 19s to 21s. Shorn •wethers and merino ewes, 17s to 18s. Lambs.—lso were yarded. Best 16s 5d ; medium, 14s to 15s 3d • others, 12s to 13s 3d. Pigs.—l6o were penned ; suckers 19s 6d to 23s 6d ; slips, 24s to 27s ; stores, 28s to 34s ; porkers, - porkers, 36s to 49s ; baconers, 56s to 66s ; choppers, 60s. OTAGO GRAIN MARKET. DUNEDIN, Nov. 11. The wheat market is dull with a downward tendency. Business Is restricted in the belief that prices have not touched bottom. Prime milling, 3s 8d to 3s lOd ; medium, 3s 2d to 3s 6d ; best whole fowl 2s 6d to 2s lOd sacks extra). Oats.—Stocks of good quality in town are light. Prices for these are fairly steady, but there is little outside demand. Low grades are plentiful and slow of sale. Prime milling, Is 4Jd to Is 5d ; good to best feed Is 3id to Is 4d, sacks extra.
