The Licensing Bill.

JTHB PREMIER'S INTENTIONS. WELLINGTON, Nov. 11. In the House yesterday the Premier, speaking of the Licensing Bill, said the majority of the House must decide as to whether the no license no liquor clause should be retained. At the evening sitting of the Bouse a motion to make the committal of the Licensing Act Amendment Bill, the second order of the day, was challenged and a division called for with the result that the committal iw»s refused by 38 votes to 34.
