A Serious Affray.

InvercarglU, Nov. 7.— Yesterday afr ternoon an altercation took place between two Wendon residents, McAuliflc and Alexander. It is stated that subsequent to an altercation between them McAuiiffe was driven in a trap, when he was attacked with a stick, and so severely injured that his depositions have been taken. Ha has three ribs broken, and 40 Stitches had to be made in cuts on vari* ous parts of the body.
