In formally opsning the Bowling Green for the sans m on Thursday, Mr Paul, the pre-idfeufc, said he did not think tnere was as good a green in thi colony and certainly there was not a better. He made feeling reference to the loss sustained by the Club through the deaths of Archdeacon GovttS and Mr F. L. Webster, After cordinliy jwelpoming the ladies ho declared the greon open and the usuil match bjthe Prebideut'a and Vicr-Presi-dent's teams was played, being won by the form?r by 115 to 102, Mrs Paul provided afternoon tea for the visitors and playors.
