Touching on the visit of the English team, the well-known Sydney writer " Not Out" says:—" As showing how cricket opinion differs, there is a ft el-, ing here among cricketers that if the Englishmen exhibit their English form they will enter the field with chances of victory equal to those of the Australians. In England, with a few exception?, critics s em to regard their retaking " the ashes "as hopeless. It is an opiolon that is not held here."
