It was decided by the Education Board on Wednesday that the schools should be closed tor the Summer recess on Friday, December 18th, aud reopen on Monday 25th January, and that the examination of pupil teachers and scholarship candi didates be held between the 14th and 18th December.

At the meeting of the Education Board on Wednesday, on the motion of Mr Faull, seconded by Mr Wadb, it was resolved that the Board desires to express its deepest sympathy with the relatives and friends of the late Ven. Archdeacon Qovett in their bereavement.
