RECREATION GROUND BOARD.

The Board met on Friday. Present: The Chairman, Messrs Corkill, New- ■ man, and Ford (hon. sec). Mr Percy j Smith sent an apology for absence. Mr ", H. M. TJauchope, hor>. secretary of thf 1 Swimming Club, wrote asking permis- j ' sion for members of the club to swim ( ; in the upper lakelet betwren the hours t cf 5 and 7 p.m. Acceded to the re- c ! quest, except on Thursdays and Sun- \ ■ cUys, provided prop or costume is worn.
