FEB PRESS ASSOCIATION. Beceived 22. 6.26 p.m Melbourvk, October 22. The Federal Parliament ha'a been prorogued. When the Ministerial party were visiting the Victoria dock, Mr Bent, State Minister of Riilwavs, slipped and fell from a ladder. He was removed to a private hospital in an unI conscious state, but has recovered conisciousness. i Received 23.1.10 a.m. Sydney, October 22. A severe rain storm and cyclone visited, Broken Hill, there being over two inches of rain. Tbe cyclone was especially severe at the reservoir, raising a wave which precipitated over the embankment. A number of buildings, including a school house at Stephen's Creek, were blown down, and many houses were flooded at Silverton, the washaways interfering with tbe railway traffic.
