WEST END SCHOOL BAZAAR.
Our readers ar* reminded of the bizrar in aid of the funds of the West Enri School, which will be opened at 2.30 this afternoon. It had been hoped thit His Worship the Major would be able to perform the opaning ceremony, but in his unavoidable absence in Wellington, the Chairman of the Education Board wM officiate. It is to be hoped she friends of the school will assist imaking the bazaar a success, as th committeo is a new one and has had tt face very heavy expenditure in connec (ion with tbe enlargement of the schoo' and the growing attendance, while their energy in looking after the welfare, of the school deserves support. We understand that an excellent collection of things has been got together, the com mittee and teachers having left nothing undone to ensure its success,
