Land applied for since last meeting in Woro district was: - Section 6, block 0, 590 acre?, W. J. Lowe; section 5, 700 sere?, J-O. B, Walsh; section 4, 520-icrcs, E\ W. Plimmer; section 5, block 5, 419 acres. M. McMafaon; section 8. block 9, 613 seres, M. Farrelly and A. C. Mitchell. The Minister of Lands having accepted the surrender of sactiou 87, Spotswood, the Lind is to ho re-offered, Section 4, bbuk 9, Hawera, is to be re-off-rtd on same conditions 88 formerly. Consent wa? give" to the following transfers:-J. A. Hintz to F. and P. B. Hintz, £ section 10, block 5, Upper Waitara (subject to improvements being effected); J. Bigntil to F. M. Jackson, sections 12 and 13, block 15, Ngatimaru; T. Coot to 0. R. Bayly, section 11, block 8, Hawera; 0. Musker to H. McKenzie, part 14, block 2, Upper Waitara, for road access; W. Barker to Thoe. Bradley, part section 62, block 1, Mahoe, for a blacksmith's shop; D. Grantham to W. G. Whitton, part section 40, block 11, Ngaire, for a store. Permission was given to T. Andreason to convert section 12, block 15, Waitara, to freehold. H. E. Rowe's application for use of the Railway Reserve fronting section 6, block 3, Upper Waitara, was granted for that portion bounded by the road, en the same terms as adjoining reserve. On R. Gregg paying half the instalment due on section 1, block 4, Upper Waitara, he will be relieved of his responsibilities, the land being too rough for occupation. The Commissioner reported advances having been made to two settlers in the Spotewood Settlement, the repayments being fixed at 10 years. Three months extension ef time for residence on section 13, block 6, Kapara, was granted 16 J. 3. W. Hurla.

Acderson having psiid up arrears of rent. Section 4, block 5, Pouatu, was declared forfeited for noncompliance with conditions, Three months time was given to Messrs Kilpin and Forster to pay arreirs of rent of section 2, block 6, Upper Waitara. Consideration of an application by C. Johnston as to access to section 11, block 15, Ngaire, was deferred. John Butler was granted six months extension for residence on section 6i block 8, Huirca. H. Baverstock was allowed six months time to pay arrears of rent. In response to an application by A. Bayly and F. M.
