Andreason to convert section 12, block 15, Waitara, to freehold. H. E. Rowe's application for use of the Railway Reserve fronting section 6, block 3, Upper Waitara, was granted for that portion bounded by the road, en the same terms as adjoining reserve. On R. Gregg paying half the instalment due on section 1, block 4, Upper Waitara, he will be relieved of his responsibilities, the land being too rough for occupation. The Commissioner reported advances having been made to two settlers in the Spotewood Settlement, the repayments being fixed at 10 years. Three months extension ef time for residence on section 13, block 6, Kapara, was granted 16 J. 3. W. Hurla.

Consideration of an application by C. Johnston as to access to section 11, block 15, Ngaire, was deferred. John Butler was granted six months extension for residence on section 6i block 8, Huirca. H. Baverstock was allowed six months time to pay arrears of rent. In response to an application by A. Bayly and F. M.
