GREAT TAILORING TRUST.
Mr Charles M. Schwab's wealth is now backing the Tailoring Trust, th* extent of which may be calculated from the fact that he expects to have 100 shops ia New York as fast as the property can be leased and equipped, and to exceed them as quickly as possible to every city iu th- United States with a population of 25,000 or more. In two years the Trust expects to have a chain of shops which will employ half a million men. Mr P. A. Schwab, an uncle of the former p; evident cf th< | Steel Trust, is the pr< bidant of tht United Tailors. Ha has letters of credit from his nephew showing bis financial interest in the scheme. A great central school will be established in New York at which cutter.*, trimmers and salesmen will be taught. They will be hen sent out through the country to the branches where their services arc ■ cquired. Or this educational idea Mr Charles Schwab siys: "It is iust as oeceesiry to educate your own men ir the tailoring business as in the steel trade."
