STINE AND EVANS' AMERICAN COMEDY COMPANY.
The opening night of this company is' fixed for Thursday next, October 22nd, and the season is liiuitud to two nights. The initial attraction will be the comedy that has inade all America laugh for over years, and has lately been causing a great sensation in this island, entitled " Mama's New Husband." This merry mixture of farce, comedy, and vaudeville drew immense audiences in Auckland for eight nighfci, Wellington seven, and Ohriatchurch two. Oa Friday the attraction tvill be the success of last season in America, the screaming farce, " Where is Cobb V The company was selected in America hy Mr Duval for Mr George Stevenson Each member is a specialist, and has bsen associated with this class of piece for yoars in the States. The productions are frankly announced as for laughing purposes only, and that they have tha desired effect a glance at the city criticisms amply proves. There are twenty people in the combination, and thoy not only play their parts capa.bly, but each one stops out asd either sings, daco3s, or performs Borne feat worthy of any high-class vaudeville company.
