In addition to the Waikaremona, recently vidted by Mr Perham, there is the Manganui-o-how river, a tributary of the Waiau, on which there are 12 waterfalls, one of 150 feet high, and another large watorfnil on the Ruakituri river finer than Te Reing;*. There are others in the Urewera Country equal to the Huku Falls, but only known to a few guides. A special outfit is required to explore, owing to the rough state of the country.
