I London, October 10. j the Times states it is incorrect that an Anglo-French arbitration treaty has been signed, and that only a simple agreement has been proposed providing' for submission to arbitration of any difference of a judicial character affectirg treaties when diplomats methods have failed. Archer Baker, the Eurrpean traffic manager of the Canadian Pacific Railway, and H. W. Wiliiams, late manager of the London India docks, have joined the Board of the Imperial iFood Suppliers Company which has opened a depot at Halifax. Parliament has been further prorogued till December 11th. The will of Phil May, the Cartoon artist has been lodged for a probate. The personality amounts to £BO3,
