IMPORTATION OF CHINESE LABOUR. PBB PRESS ASSOCIATION. Cape Town, October 7. Mr Skinner, Commissioner of the Johannesburg Chamber of Mints in the Far East, recemmends a tentative importation of Chinese, but that steady efforts should be made to augment the supply of Kaffirs. The Miners' Association urges the Government to undertake the superintendence of arrangements for completing the Rand import of 3000 Chinese monthly, beginning in January.
