MB PRESS ASSOCIATION. Berlin, October 5. The coal heavers on Hamburg Quays have decided to strike unless tn<y are conceded 4s 6d a day of 10 hours. London, October 5. Four thousand colliers at Mouutain Ash, Glamorganshire, have been thrown idy in pursuance of notice given with a view of bringing non-Unionists to the" Union. The latter joined, but work will cot be resumed until the employers decide. Melbourne, October 6. With a view to bringing tbe strike of Chinese cabinet makers to an early dose the Chinese Employers' Union has decided to lock them out. There are now 300 Chinese oat o! work, re- J presenting übout 70 per cent of the total employees. •
