PKB PBEBS ASSOCIATION. Donedin, The barque Bea Avon, Oapt. D;xon, from Glasgow, arrived to-day. She had an uuusual amount of bad waather, which caused considerable damage. All her boats were smashed and several Rails lost, etc. James Stevenson, aged '27 years, and a nativo of BarrowooFur.ieHP, lost Lis life in a tremendous B'«a which broke on board, and washed him and a man named Wylli* overboard. Wyllie managed to regain the ship, but the other was never seen again.
Received 30, 0.28 a.m, Sydney, September 29. The missing members of tho Oizntra'a crew turned up safely at Newoaetle.
