The Rugby Union to-uight resolved that the Committee regrets the 0:ago N captain should have allowed a Canterbury player to rcp'ace an injured . player in the o."ago-Canterbury match : in direct defiance cf the decision of the English Union; thai; the Canterbury 1' Union be informed that in the opinion of the committee it is desirable that 1: the question of the right of any Union to include in its teams representatives of other Unions represented on tha New Zealand Union, should be definitely settled and an expression of opinion on the subject obtained from the New Zealand Union.
