MUSGROVE'S COMIC OPERA COMPANY.
"THS S'IKENADJS." There was again a very large attendant at the Theatre Royal on Tuesday evening, when "The Serenade" was produced. JThat the audienco ei.joyed this pretty opera immensely was abundantly evident from the frequent and learty applause. Jt even gave more and pleasure than "The Fortune Teller," chat is saying a good deal. The scenery and accessories were on that lavish scale that distinguishes Mr Musgrove's productions, the audience being especially charmed with the e> ,'ne in Aot 11. —the gardens of the MonastA. Mr Pringle once more delighted hiThearers with his splendid singing and acting, Mis 3 May B:itty and Miss Boanas also securing a large share of applause. Tbere was plenty of excellent comedy and dancing, Messrs Lauri and Oourtenay being inimitable in the laughter raising business. As on the previous evening, the whole of the performers acquitted themselves with great success, and well sustained the reputation of the management, The Company proceed to Wanganui to-day, whore they play for t!?-;ea nights before settling down to a long season at Wellington. ''
