'There was a full muster of the mem: bers of the Ladies Committee appointed to arraDge detaijs of the proposed F t te in'aid of the funds of the Recreation Grounds. The meeting wag held in the Mayor's parlour, and Mis Cock, the Mayoress, presided, " ' ' A. programme was drawn jap providing for a flora} fete and games of all descriptions. Afier a general discussion it was decided to submit the programme to a general meeting to be htjd on Tuesday afternoon next at half-past three; o'clock, when everyone interes'ed is requested to attend. There is every expectation that the affair will be a great succets, as a good deal of interest is being Bhown/and the programme sugges ed should about '■ hit the popular tasse. I
