' Winiata Kerei, 14 jean, employed at a timber mill at Turua, waa oaughft in a revolving shaft and whirled reund. His leg was smashed to a pnlp and wen hanging from tbe thigh; both sbonlden were dislooated; the head bruised, and elbow dislocated. He was brought to the Thames Hospital in a boat, and the leg was amputated. He is in a oritioal condition, LITH. The Maori lad who sustained fearful injuries in the mill aocident at Turua died this efternoon from the shook. Wkllikqtoh, September 15.
