THE LADY SIiAVJOY.. Dance's delightful musical comedy " The Lady Slavey " will be staged tomorrow night; by Mr John F. Sheridan and his brilliant musical company, who so far have been enjoying a highly successful eeasen in New Zsa'and. The story of "The Slavey" is Intelligent and consistent, the music tuneful and c itching, the scenes artistic and correct, and 'he dresses rich and lavish. Mr Sheridan is said to be particularly i well placed, pourtnyiug as ha cites no loss than four distiuct characters -R.fiibfris (a bailiff), !WcDoua;ali (a Scotch mm), Jeetns (a flunkey), and Piarpont, Morgan (an Americ.tn millionaire.) llis astonishing chmge, iu fall view of the audience, from the gaib of the bailiff to that of the Scotchman is said to be almost paralvsing in its quickness. Widow O'Brien, a character wh : ch Mr Sheridan has made paculiatly his own, will conclude the short season. Tne company leave by boat on Friday for Onehunga and commence a season at His Majesty's Theatre, Auckland, on Saturday night.
