DEEP BORE STARTED, PJSH PKKSS ASSOCIATION. Thames, September 12. A large representative gathering was present to day at the formal commencement of the boriDg scheme to test the deep level at the Themes. The diamond drill vro:kcd splendidly, and after boriDg a short distance a stoppage was made and coog.mtula.tcry and hopeful speeches made, an opinion beiDg expressed that marvellously rich deposits of gold could be secured. 1
