Per Press Association. Napier, September S. The fourth round of the New Zealand Amateur Championship was played yesterday. Nicolaus beat K, Duooao r McEwan beat Fitzherbert, 0. Gillifv bf>at H. Peacock, K Tareha beat Hooper. A. Duncan won the Hawke's Bay Championship with a score of 167 for two rounds, H. Gillies being second with 170, his score of 79 in the eeoood round being a reoord for the links, 0. Gillies, 180, was third. A foursome bogey handioap was played, H. Gillies and Fisher, with a handicap of 8, winning easily with 1 up. Gordon and Smith, with a handicap of 6, 3 down, were second.
