HIGH SCHOOL BOARD OF GOVERNORS.

The usual monthly meeting of the High School Governors was hold in the secretary's office on Friday evening. Present: Messrs MacDiirmid (chairman), J. B. Roy, Wilson, Puray Smith, and Allaworth. Tbe minutes of the previous meeting were read and confirmed. The usual monthly statements and the Principal's report were laid ou the table. Mrs Hooker resigned her position as sewing teacher on account of illhealth. Mrs Hooker's resignation was accepted with regret, and applications are to be called to fill the vacancy, the Chairman, Mr Peroy Smith, and the Secretary (Mr Bewley) to deal with the applications. One of the teaobing staff was granted leave of absence to attend the University Examination. Acoounts amounting to X 145 were passed for payment.
