LANGER SCHOOL OF DRESSMAKING.
A large number of ladies assembled at the Old Freemasons' Hall on Wednesday afternoon for th<» purpose of obtaining an insight into the Langer system of dress-cutting and miking. Tbe system is now in vogue in Australia, Tasmania, and the chief cities of New Zealand, and is becoming more and more favourably known, Miss Kate Stewart, Principal of the Wellington School, gave a very interesting and lucid address on the principles of the system, wh'ch were minutely explained to those present. At the conclusion of Miss Stewart's remarks a lady was measured and a bodice cut and fitted on her, which was seen to be a perfect fit. Tbe classes are taught by Miss Batchelor, and ere held at her rooms over Morey and Moore's, King-street. All ladies interested are invited to the school for a free lesson. I
