SHIPPING CASUALTIES.
PBB PEEBB ASSOCIATION. Pbhth, September 1. The steamer Fortunatus from Singapore report sighting a large four-masted English ship hopelessly wrecked on Transit Rock, in Sunda Strait. He did not approach near enough to ascertain her name, but she bad apparently been on the reef a considerable time, and there was no sign of life. While the Fortunatus was passing another steamer was sesn approaching the wreck from Batavia, evidently with tho intention of salvaging.
