Ctaca the Shamrock led to windward, but the wind Veering parly in the contest to the north-east ths Reliance was soon a mile to windward of the Shamrock, and continued to maße progress ahead under lighter winds. The Shamrock rounded the mark 20 minutes astern. While the yachts were making a slow reach homewards the time limit expired. The racing is to be continued daily till the supremacy is settled.
