POLICE COURT.
Monday, August 31st.—Before Mr, R, L. | Stanford, B.M. MAINTENANCE OASE, [ Albert Frederick Hass Was brought up on remand charged with leaving his illegitimate cViild without sufficient means of support at Tooweomba, Queensland. It will b3 remembered that accused was arrested, on telegraphed information, by Constable Lind at Eahotu, and remanded on two former occasions for the arrival of a constabe from Queensland, Matthew Edwin Brisbane, being sworn, said I am a police constable in tbe State of Queensland. I produce a warrant, for tbe arrest of t.he accused prisoner for leaving his illegitimate child without sufficient means of support. I apply to have the prisoner remanded to Queensland. To the S.M.: I know the signature to the warrant. It is that of a Justice of tbe Peace in the State of Queensland. The S.M, said the remand would be granted. The Court rose.
