LOCAL BILL. NOTICE is hereby gh'.-n that it is the intention of the Kew Plvnoiith Harbour Board to promote, and endeavour to have parsed into law, at the present sexsion of Parliament, a Bill, the short title whereof is " The New Plymouth Harbour Board Empowering Act, 1903." The objects which the Bill is intended to effect ate 1. To enable the Now Plymouth Harbour Board to borrow, subject to the provisions of " The Harbours Act, 1878," any sum not exceeding £160,000. at a rate of interest njt exceeding £6 per centnm per annum, to be applied for the construction aad carrying out oi works for the improvement of the Port of New Plymouth. 2. Before any loan is raised the consent of the ratepayers thill be first odt*i'.«.l in the mode prescribed by "i he Local Bodies loans Act, 1901." 3.
