The Board will communicate with the Public Trustee as to the growth of noxious weeds in the Waiwakaiho district, and also get their Eanger to report. Toe Secretary was instructed to com- • municate with certain New Plymouth tenants whose holdings had been adversely reported on by the Eanger. The Treasurer repotted a balance of , £1063 5s 9d. The Board refused to allow Mr J i Gibson to transfer lease of sections 142 and 143, Hua district, until he compensates the Board for damage done by removal of clay, etc., for brick-making. Transfers granted, subj :ct to usual conditions :—T. Lock to S. Morshead, W. Amouiy. A. H. Arnolil, and G. A. Green, of sections 1560,1564, and 1687, New Plymouth; W. Brown to A. Brown, of intr-rest in lease of section 30, block 10, Huiroa ; H. Brown and Go. to S. Pitt, section 106, block 2, An application receivsd by telephone to transfer from J. Davis to W. H. H. Young, lease of sub 2 of section 5, block 9, Ngatimaru, was referred to the Chairman. Several mortgages were agreed to. Sub-leases were authorised on usual conditions:—A. W. R id to 0. T. and A. G. Carpenter, 5 years, at 16s per acre; H. W. Huggett to G. T. Langley, 5 years, at 17s por acre. ' F. Close was allowed to transfer his sub-lessa of J. A. Stanford's leasehold to J. R. Pattinson, subject to usual conditions. Accounts £ll 13s 41 were passed, The Beard adjourned.
