ANTHRAX.
A WIOEBPuK.vD DISEaSK. PER PRESS ASSOCIATION, Wellinqtos, August 10. Four cites of anthrax hive been reported to the Agricultural Department within the past four weeks, vis., one at > Woodlands, Southland, and three is different parte of the Auckland dietriot.
The Department has reason to believe that an outbreak has also occurred oear New Plymouth. Specimen! of blood from an animal in the latter diefrict, whioh. is believed to have been .f'acked by the disease are being for* warded to Wellington.
■Mr Reakes, Government veterinarian, states that after examining blood specimens from WocdUnds, he is satisfied that the case there is one of true anthrax,
