I -Li Me ting ol! the New Plymouth ' Borough Council will ba held at the Council '■ Chambers, King-street, New Pljaouth, on i the 26th day of August, 1903, at 10 a m., for I ths purpose of confirming a resolution pnssed by the Oonnoil on the 27th day of I July, 1903, ordainirjg a d making amend-! | ments to the Bye-Laws for the Borough of New Plymouth, %uch amendments to c-:me into operation and force on the sth day of September, 1903; and also that the objects of ouch amendments are : (a) To repeal Bye-Laws 93 and 94 and 99, in re'pect of Waterworks, and to substitute others in lieu thereof, (b) To amend Bye-Lans 92, 96, and 97, in respact of Waterworks. (c) To amend Bye Laws No, 312 so as to close Billiard-rooms at 10 p.m., instead of 11 p m. (d) To amend the int°rpretation of the words " party wall" and " inner area "in the "Building Bye-Laws, 1902." (e) To amend clause (o) of Bje-Law No. 4 and Bye-La t No. 5 of the Building Bye-Laws, (f) To repeal Bye-Law No. 17 of the said Building Bye-Laws and substitute anolher therefor. (g) To attend clauses 11, 12, and 21 of the SHchednle No. 1 of the said Building Bye-Laws. (h) To repeal clause 16 of tto Schedule No 1 of the said Building ByeLws, and to substitute another therefor. (i) To add a Dew Bye-Law (No. 3 A) to the Building Lye-Lws to provile that all n»w thvomejs in the "inner area" be built with core liniogß. (j) To amend Schedule No. 2 of the Building Bye-Laws by adding to the list of" fees" under £25 -2»6d. (k) And to amend Division YJII of the Bye-La-wa relating to Lodging Houses, by striking out the word "commoD" wherever it occurs in such Division. And, also, that a copy of proposed amendments is deposited at the Office of the New Plymouth Borough Council, King street, New Plymouth, and is open to the inspection of the public ■during office hours from 10 a.m. till 1 p.m. and from 2 pm to 4 p.m. on all week days exefpt 'Jhursdays, and from 10 a.m. to I p.m. on Thursdays, and will remain there open to inspection intil the Slid 26th day of August, 1903. SECOND SCHEDULE. Firstly, all those pieces of land containing by admeasurement two roods two perches, more or less, being sections numbered nine hundred and ninety eight and nine hundred and ninety nine on the plan of the Town of New Plymouth.
