NEW ZEALAND EAILWAYS. BAND CONTEST AT HAWERA. ON THURSDAY, 6th August, special pi senger traia will leave Stratford at 10.0 a.m., arriving Hawera 11.3 a.m. returning from Ha .vera at 6.0 pm. for Toko, I Waitara, and New Plymouth. The usual 4 35 p.m. train will be delayed to leave Hawera at 5.40 p.m. for Wanganui. Holiday Excursion Tickets, available for return till 10th August, will bo issued to -f&.rera from New Plvmouth and interpellate stations, including Waitara and Toko branches, on sth August, and by morning train on 6th August.
