SERIOUS RAILWAY ACCIDENT.

Peeth, August 3. A serious railway accident ocrured at Broad Arrow. When the northern express was appnnobing the station the engine and first carriage passed the points safely, but 'he second carraige, contaiuog 30 passengers, split at the points and tuppl d over. Six'passengers were i'jund.
Tbe official theory is that the accident was caused by failue to lock the points, tbe vib.-a'ioa causing them to shift cut.
