The Caulfield winter meeting wa« held in fine weather, there being a good attendance. Results: - Wilg ite Steeplechasers Flat Race : Isis 1, Tanifa, Signet 3. Betting 7to 1 lsis. Won by a length. Tims 3min 37sec. Momdah Plate: Silenua 1, Independence aid Qrafina, dead heat, 2. Betting 3ti 1 Silenus. Won by three lengths. Time lmiu 17|iee. Grand Nationol Hurdles: Marmont 1, My Mistake 2, Pierrot 3. There were 14 stirters. Marmont, who was favourite at 5 to 2, took a good position throughout, and led into the straight winning by two lengths. Time 6min 57sec, Amateur Challenge Cup: Jonei 1, Mournpool 2, Hugo 3. Bitting 7to 1 Jone3. Won by four lengths. Time 6min 16|sec. Balaclava S'akes: Seaport 1, Mhiruoora 2, Silenua 3. Betting sto 1 S aport. Won by a length. Time lmiu sec. Mondoh Purse: Charleston 1, Eileen 2, Fetter 3. Betting 2to 1 Charleston. Won by thrae leng.hs. Time lmin 19 5 ec.
