ANTHRAX.
Per Press Association. Wellington, August 2. Mr J. A. Gilruth, Ohief G wernment Veterinarian, left Wellington on Saturday for Auckland with the intention of investigating the cases of anthr.x that have occurred in the northern province, and of supervising the Application of vaccine to ottle in the in-j tected areas.
Advices received by the vetcrirary section of the Department of Agriculture show that cases of anthrax are reported at Mangawhera, Upper Waikato, on property belonging to the Assets Realisation Board. Cattle hive di.-d there after feeding on land manured with imported bonedust.
