The two institutions are quite distinct. A stiff mountain wind made things very unpleasant in town yesterday. Outside the town a stiff gale was blowing, and a very high sea running. Very heavy weather is reported all along the coast.

The opening services will be held on Sunday, August 9th, when the Rev. J. N. Buttle will preach at 2 30 p.m. and Mr J. Asher at 7 p m., the offertories being for the building fund.
