The London Education Bill was read a second time in the Houbs of Lords by 69 to 26. The Archbishop of Canterbury protested againsi the Bill, not bzcaose it was hurtful to secular education, but beciu-.e its opponents were afraid it would help to pressrye religious education of a Vnd they dislike.
