A MUNIFICENT GIFT.

Wellington, July 29. i Mrs W. R,. Williams, widow of thp lata Oaptain Williams, has presented £7OOO to the Missions to Spamen for the erection of a memorial to her late hliaband. The memorial will take the fo-m of a building fronting the Supreme Courts, and will be for the bent fit of ssamen of all nations and creeds visiting the port. Plans have already been prepared for the building, which will be a very fine one.
