Points and time to count. No second start. 8. DESPATCH RAOE.—Troopers to ride wish over snob, course as the Oiinmittee may direct. (Distance, about 6 furlongs), 4. RESCUING OOMRADEB.—Entrance Is pnr man. Mounted man to ride at a gallop up to firing point, while comrade oa foot rlres five shots. He then takes up bis comrade and rides to winning post. Both men to ba fatly armed. Mounted man to start at siuid of the first shot. Distance, about 300 yards. 5. VICTORIA CROSS.—Trooper to ride certain distance and rescue ccmrade. (Distance about £ mile.) 6. GUN CAPTURING.—Entrance 6d p«r man. Open to teams of m*. men and leader. Tie team to gallop out under fire, capture gun and bring in past winning post. 7. L-IFK-SAVING.—Over such country as the Committee may direct. 8. LLOYD LINDSAY COMPETITION. Opan to sections of four men. The team to ride at a gallop and jump one flight cf hurdles.
