Received 19, 8.45 p.m. London, July 7. The Daily Mail asserts that nothing is known at Paris of the alleged transfer of French possessions in the Eastern Pacific to the United States. The removal of troops at Tahiti was the result of a cyclone at Pannmotu, and was devoid of political meaning. Berlin, July 18. Advices received here state that Russia will adhere to the sugar convention in August for the purpose of facilitating the conclusion of commercial treaties.
