I THB ANNUAL REPORT. PES PRESS ASSOCIATION. Wellington, July 18. The National D.iiry Association, Limited, in its annual report, states that pi ices were bitter daring the past season, and, though cot now so high, are still fair and unusually remunerative. Among reasons given for the reduction in prion are the large amount of Canadian and Argentine butter held in store, the combined attempt by the London merchants to reduce prices, and the indiscriminate marketing of shipments. On the othor hand oheeee was ic good demand, and reached a record price. Anothor attempt to amalgamate with the South Island branch had failed, but the executive considered that amalgamation would leid to economy and an extension of usefulness. The turnover during the year had nearly doubled, being £66,064, against £38,920 for the previous year.
