South Taranaki test match to be played at Hawera on Wednesday, 22nd inst is: 1 —Full-back, Blyth; three-quarters, A.' Hunter, Bourke, Rothery; five-eighth, Forsyth; half, J. Hunter; wings, Guy, J. As already stated the names of a team to represent the North were sent up on Tusslay evening, but it seems to be a question as to who made the selection. Messrs Syme, Gray and Young were appointed for this purpose and were to have met at Midhirst on Saturday to do so, but though Mr Gray went down from New Plymouth he could not come across his confreres and returned. Mr Syme appears to have taken no part in the selection, and has expressed his regret at not meeting MrGray, this being due to the former not beiog properly advised of the m anting. We await developments. On Wednesday evening Mr Arndt, the secretary of cbe Union, wired Mr F. T. Bellrioger, the local representative on the Management Oomrait.tce of the Union, ss follows:---Replying to your wire—l have arranged first test mitch at Hawera on Wednesday, July 22nd, and the second at New Plymouth on Thursday, July 30tb.
