The Industries and Commerce Department hava received word from tbe Lands Department at Pre torn expressing their high approval of tha aamp'ej of New Zsalacd timber forwarded, and suggesting that in view of the land ■ettling 8 heme, which includes the providing of small cottages for settlers, New Zealand might send these houses in section*, as labour is cheaper in this eo'ony. A sample cottage cou d be sent built on plsn? forwarded to tho Department of liidu-tries, and a big trade might ba opined up.
