The latest bulletin a'a'es that he spsnt a lees redtless night though h j had little sheep. Bis pulse is weak, bat not intermittent. His temperature is below normal. An official stated that the Pope was engaged in writing for some time at a desk during the morning. Dr. Mszzoni declares that the hour of the fatal termination depends upoD the rapidity wherewith the luug hardenß, The Pope, he says, will go out like a lamp whose oil has run dry. He took but little food, and sat in an arm-chair in order to assist breathing. The Pep* attended to business in defiance of his physicians injunction, declaring that he wished to be in harnest, and that he could die happy, sicca he had obeyed his conscience, and had striven for the church's we'fare, Bis Holiness dictated a poetic invocation to tbe Redeemer and Virgin, and a farewell to all Christians. Towards evening accentuated symptoms and general depression appeared, the respirations being more frequent and superficial, the pulse weak and at times imperceptible. Extreme Unction was administered at 10 o'clock to-night, whsn tbe Pope bleesed all present. His weakness increased after night.
