ASSETS REALISATION BOARD.
ANNUA l. RiiPOBT. FSB PBISS ASSOCIATION. Wellington, July J, The annual report and balanoe-akeet of the Assets Realisation Board war* laid on the table of the Bouse at 11.90 to-night. The business in all departments had been satisfactory, and consignments afloat and unrealised at last annual balance have panned out with a substantial surplus overdrafts,although anticipations as to wool sain war* not realised. The result of the year's working, aj art from the special .£101,135 paid by the Bank in excess of the statutory .£5D,000, shows full provision for payment of debenture interest and a surplus of j£19,660. On 3lst March tha total amount of overdue purchase money and interest wfs £3162 only, and of this £2603 was paid within a few days. At this time thore were no arrears nor bad or doubtful debts, nor have stiingent measures had to bs tiken to compel piyment. There had not bsea a single case of failure to carry out purchases and the demand was fast in* creasing for land in ths distriots when the main portion of the Board's properties lie% and realisations htve been and continue at values which are largely reducing the estimated deficiency
