OBITUARY.
The death is reported from Napier of Mr D. S. Hunter, formerly of Fatea. Tha deceased was a most kind hearted genial gentleman, and many will remember his hospitality in the early days of the district. His wife predeceased him by about a year. He leaves a large family—three daughters (married) and four unmarried. There are four sons, the eldest and another in Stratford, and two elsewhere. Mr and Mrs Hunter left the Fatea district some three years ago, and were much : missed, as they took an active part in ! everything for the public and. social welfare of the district.
